Sam Gorman
I chase rare moments when design & engineering combine to make magical products. Today, I’m back building in early stage to create the sort of high-impact company that I’ve dreamed of seeing in the world.
I was an early engineer at the startup Snorkel AI. I led a team that went and shipped a new product that evaluates AI model quality. And during my three years there, I helped shape our core workflows & frontend architecture. Outside of Snorkel, I built Spacebar, an immersive 3D tool that reimagined what working together online could be. I took time away from college to start Iris Labs, where we set about building a data-driven assistant for students. And before that, I built Peerlift, a remarkably fast, human way to discover scholarships for college, and grew the platform to ~150,000 users. I graduated from Stanford with a BS in Computer Science & Product Design.
